At least, Jack Black’s version does. Had the 2015 movie Goosebumps on in the background while folding laundry, and Black’s character, Goosebumps author R.L. Stein, drives !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , a Jeep Grand Wagoneer. *Tiny* spoiler past this point.

Kinja'd!!!

The car gets a couple glamor shots early in the movie, followed by this goofy yet entertaining car chase. Surprisingly, the best part comes after the clip ends. The Jeep meets its demise at the hands of a giant praying mantis, and Black’s character cries out in horror, “Oh no, my Wagoneer! I had such low mileage on it!” Which is pretty much how I feel every time I look up prices on ones as clean as the one used in the movie. The movie features a slightly hotrod and rather demonic Lincoln Continental MkIII, a nod to the 70's “horror” movie The Car .

I see what you did there.

That Lincoln looked pure evil. Love it.

It was actually a nod to the goosebumps book “The Haunted Car”, which, truth be told, was probably inspired by “The Car” or more obviously “Christine”

I know but the haunted car was a sports car, not a big Lincoln.
